10 arrested on drug charges in Bosque County, Texas

BOSQUE COUNTY, Texas (KWTX) – Six people have been arrested on charges related to a suspected methamphetamine trafficking network operating in and around Walnut Springs, the Bosque County Sheriff’s Office said.

The Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division said investigators seized multiple ounces of suspected methamphetamine and other evidence during the investigation.

Daisy Quintana, Salvador Chavez Jr., Stephanie Olivarri, Jorge Chavez, Dustin White and Jacob Kelley were arrested over the past several weeks and charged with engaging in organized criminal activity involving the manufacture or delivery of a Penalty Group 1 controlled substance.

Quintana was additionally charged with burglary of a habitation and theft of property.

White was also arrested by Stephenville police on Sept. 24 on a separate charge of possessing a Penalty Group 1 controlled substance.

The sheriff’s office reported additional arrests stemming from separate enforcement actions.

Michael Nowlin was arrested July 3 on a charge of possessing 4 to 200 grams of a Penalty Group 1 controlled substance with intent to deliver. John Christian was arrested on an outstanding Parker County warrant for possession of marijuana.

On Sept. 24, investigators searching the residence of Rolf Mahan and Charlene Gamble reported finding suspected methamphetamine.

Mahan was charged with possessing less than one gram of a Penalty Group 1 controlled substance and had two outstanding warrants alleging manufacture or delivery of 1 to 4 grams. Gamble was charged with possessing less than one gram.

The investigation remains active, and additional arrests are expected, the sheriff’s office said
