Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves increase by $15m
Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) increased by $15 million, taking the central bank’s reserves to $21.4537 billion, according to official data.
The SBP said commercial banks held $5.3437 billion in foreign exchange reserves.
With the latest increase, Pakistan’s total liquid foreign exchange reserves, including those held by commercial banks, reached $26.7974 billion.
The latest figures reflect the country’s overall foreign exchange position, with the State Bank holding the bulk of the reserves.
