Traders occupying 37 Military Hospital walkway given one-week ultimatum to vacate

The Ayawaso West Municipal Assembly task force has given traders operating on the pedestrian walkway around the 37 Military Hospital in Accra a one-week ultimatum to pack up and leave or face forceful eviction.

Members of the task force have already begun marking containers and temporary structures along the stretch ahead of the planned clearance.

According to local authorities, the exercise aims to reclaim the walkway, remove unauthorized obstructions, and restore free movement for pedestrians.

Officials warned that once the deadline passes, traders who remain will have their structures forcibly removed.
