TRAFFITECH-GH: Every 5km/h above speed limit attracts GH¢240 fine – MTTD

The Director of Education, Research and Training at the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD), ACP Alexander Kwaku Obeng, has disclosed that motorists who exceed the prescribed speed limits will face progressively higher fines under the new TRAFFITECH-GH enforcement arrangement.ACP Obeng said the TRAFFITECH-GH system is designed to impose increasingly severe financial penalties on motorists depending on how far they exceed the legally permitted speed limit.
