PTI leaders deny any contact from government or JUI chief for talks

PTI leader and the former Speaker of the National Assembly, Asad Qaiser, said he met Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Thursday, where they discussed the possibility of an All-Parties Conference (APC).
Qaiser said, however, that neither the government nor Maulana Fazlur Rehman had contacted the PTI to initiate talks.
PTI leader Akhunzada Hussain Yousafzai, also said there had been no contact from the government or Maulana Fazlur Rehman over negotiations.
He said the PTI had not called any meeting to discuss talks. Akhunzada added that Barrister Gohar was in Charsadda, while the party’s central leadership was taking part in the long march.
Another PTI leader, Junaid Akbar, said he was unaware of any Zoom meeting being convened by the party regarding negotiations.
