Pathankot-Jogindernagar narrow-gauge train likely to resume from Oct 11

Shimla: Train services on the heritage Pathankot-Jogindernagar narrow-gauge railway section are likely to resume after Oct 11 following completion of safety inspections and maintenance work, providing relief to commuters and tourists travelling through the Kangra Valley.The Jammu division of Northern Railway conducted a comprehensive inspection of the narrow-gauge section on Wednesday, including railway stations, tracks, bridges and safety infrastructure.The services had been curtailed as a precautionary measure during monsoon.
