Fuming Lee Andrews confirms he’s out of jail

Lee Andrews confirmed suspicions that he has been released from jail in a new video posted to his Instagram Stories on Wednesday.

The conman, 43, who recently split from wife Katie Price, 48, has been locked up in Dubai’s Al-Awir jail twice this year on various fraud charges and was rumoured to be out after posting a picture of himself in a sauna the day before.

Seeming quite upset about his new shaven head, Lee said: ‘Right, I haven’t made a public appearance yet so here we go. They got me, they got me good… look.

‘I had to get it out of my system. I had to shave it, [my hair] because obviously I am freshly out of jail, aka the most notorious prison in Dubai, Al-Awir.’

And seeming to confess to his own wrongdoing, despite always publicly maintaining his innocence, he said: ‘God, don’t go against the system guys, they will bury you.’

Despite saying he would be leaving the country multiple times before he was imprisoned, but failing to because he has a travel ban, Lee once again said he would be leaving the country.

It’s not known if Lee’s ban has now been lifted after serving jail time but he insisted: ‘I’m out of jail now so I can get out of the country. I can’t whistleblow from here but I will be doing eventually.

‘I need to say something about the terrible ordeal that I was in and in order to get to the person I needed to get to to get out.

‘I needed to shave my head, to get past it, so there it is, sporting it again.’

Seeming to deny he ever wore a wig despite his hair growing several inches in a matter of weeks previously, he said of his bald look: ‘It will grow back.

‘No I don’t have a wig or a system, it’s just me. It will do for now.’

Former glamour model Katie parted ways with her husband of eight months in early September after discovering ‘he had just £2.22 in his account, despite claiming to be a millionaire’.

He appeared to take a swipe at his wife by sharing a clip of Halsey’s 2018 track Without Me, which includes the lyrics: ‘Does it ever get lonely? Thinking you could live without me.’

And he unfollowed Katie after changing his bio from ‘Katie Price’s Husband’ to ‘Britain’s Bad Boy’, while also liking a post from The Sun about Katie’s upcoming stint on TV show Celebrity Handcuffed, in which she will be handcuffed to politician Suella Braverman.

He’s also reactivated his Cameo account, a platform which allows fans to buy personalised video messages. He launched the account in June to capitalise off his self-professed ‘notoriety’.

When he first launched his page, Lee was charging £41.74 per video. However, the reactivated page – which features a ‘Just Came Back!’ banner – sees fees of £40.73 for a personal message or £739.89 for a business video.

Despite his apparent swipes at his estranged wife, Katie remains the only account Lee follows on his Instagram account.

The Daily Mail has approached Lee for comment.

Last month, Katie said Lee had ‘scammed her heart’ as she broke her silence on their split and branded their marriage ’embarrassing’.

The TV personality has since consulted a divorce lawyer, while Lee delivered a voice note from behind bars saying the split is ‘for the best’.

Appearing on Good Morning Britain, Katie told hosts Susanna Reid and Ed Balls: ‘I feel embarrassed because I feel he scammed my heart. Do you know what I mean?

‘I feel like he scammed my heart and stole my trust that I had, and me defending a man constantly because he made me believe that, “Kate, come on, you know I’m not like this”.’

Lee had claimed he had $50million in a cryptocurrency account, but Katie recently found out he had just $3 (£2.22).

She added: ‘He hasn’t scammed me for money, but I feel he has scammed me because he fabricated a person that doesn’t exist.’

At the beginning of the Good Morning Britain segment, they also played Lee’s voice note from prison as he admitted: ‘Divorce is for the best.’

He said: ‘I never throw Kate under the bus. I do feel that that’s happened to me, and it looks like there’s profit to be made from her side.

‘And obviously, some things have happened recently while I’ve been in civil jail. I’m not being convicted of any crimes, nor am I a criminal’.

Lee then claimed that he has ‘funds’ and Katie was ‘exposing the wrong amount in a wrong wallet’ and that personal finances should be ‘between husband and wife’.

Ending the voice note, he said ‘as far as filing divorce, I think that’s probably the best thing for it… I love Kate and always will.’

After hearing the lengthy voice note, Katie said: ‘It is exhausting, and I’m sitting here listening and I’m just shaking my head because where do I start?’

Believing that he does love her, she explained: ‘I do believe he did [love me], and I think he’s got himself in such a situation where I think where he copy and pastes what he says to women, that he actually did fall from it.’

She continued: ‘I love him, but who is he? I love the man I met, but I just can’t take it. I’m not stupid, you know. I’ve been stupid.

‘Well, obviously, I was stupid to fall for him. I’ve heard the same thing. I’ve heard it for nine months. I’ve heard it. He’s been in prison for two and a half months. I’ve heard from day one he was being extradited back to England.

‘I’ve heard the same story every day. I’m coming out tomorrow. I’m coming out tomorrow… There’s only so much I can take.’

She also revealed that a ring Lee allegedly told her was worth £72,000 was valued at £5,000 when she attempted to have it insured.
