Apoorva Mukhija aka Rebel Kid breaks silence on viral kissing video with Amin Jaz: ‘My parents saw the clip’

Apoorva Mukhija, aka The Rebel Kid, recently recalled the moment when she saw her kissing video with Amin Jaz circulate online. In her latest vlog, the influencer-turned-actor revealed the clip was from a year ago, and they had no idea they were being filmed. She also recalled how the situation became overwhelming for her after being flooded with messages about the viral clip, which led to a breakdown at Heathrow Airport.

Apoorva addressed her viral kissing video with Amin Jaz and revealed that it was recorded at a private party around a year ago. She recalled recieving messages about the clip while she was travelling from Turkey to New York, during a layover in London.

Apoorva said neither she nor Amin knew they were being recorded at the party. “One of my videos from a year ago has gotten leaked. So this video was like a private moment between me and another guy. And we did not know that we were being recorded. This was at a private party,” she said.

Apoorva said she was shocked after she learned that it had surfaced online. She said, “Aur ye video bohot purani hai. 1 saal purani hai aur ab aayi hai baahar (And this video is very old. It’s about a year old and has surfaced now).”

Apoorva recalled, “She said that by the time she landed at London’s Heathrow Airport, her phone was filled with messages from people asking whether she had seen the video. “My entire WhatsApp is filled with messages saying, ‘Did you see this?.”

The situation became even more intense for Apoorva when she realised that her parents had also watched the clip. “This is the first time my parents saw that video. They did not know I had a boyfriend. They had no clue,” she said.

That moment, combined with the surprising circulation of the leaked video, left her completely overwhelmed. “So I have lost my mind,” Apoorva said while recalling the moment.

The Traitors fame recalled that she was at Heathrow Airport, where she broke down around thousands of people as it was difficult for her to process what had happened. “I remember I sat at the Heathrow airport, and there were, I think, a million people at that airport. Aur main bas neeche baithke roye jaa rahi hu, roye jaa rahi hu (And I just sat there and kept crying and crying),” she recalled.
