A 30 Year Old SA Woman Died After Allegedly Been Stabbed By Her Teen Foreign Boyfriend, See Why

A 30-year-old woman from Mohlakeng, near Randfontein in Gauteng, has died after she was allegedly stabbed by her boyfriend in August, according to family statements.

Lerato Itumeleng was allegedly attacked and stabbed on 1 August 2026. She sustained serious injuries during the incident and later succumbed to complications related to the attack.

The boyfriend was subsequently arrested in connection with the case. He has since been released on bail while the legal process continues.

Tragically, Itumeleng celebrated her 30th birthday on 30 September, almost two months after the alleged attack. She leaves behind a three-year-old son, her grandmother and two brothers, who are now dealing with the devastating loss.

Her family is appealing for justice and urging authorities to ensure the case is thoroughly pursued through the courts. They have also called on anyone who may be able to assist them in their efforts to obtain justice to come forward.

The circumstances surrounding her death remain a matter for the courts to determine, and the allegations against her boyfriend have not been proven. The family continues to mourn Itumeleng and hopes her case will receive the attention it deserves.
