Wicknell Chivayo Allegedly Shoots His Shot at Poshy Queen In Leaked Chats

Tanzanian socialite Poshy Queen caught the attention of social media users after sharing screenshots of private messages she says came from Zimbabwean businessman Wicknell Chivayo. According to her, the messages show him asking her to date him, a request she chose to ignore.

The screenshots spread quickly online, and many fans praised her for making her side of the story public. Poshy explained that she is in a committed relationship and has no interest in leaving her boyfriend, no matter how much money or status is placed in front of her.

She stressed that she cannot be swayed by wealth. In her view, even men who own helicopters and private jets cannot convince her to walk away from the man she loves. She said loyalty and respect are values she holds close.

The story has taken a sad turn. Chivayo and his wife were killed in a helicopter crash that left six people dead, and his family confirmed the news.

The helicopter came down in the Marondera rural area, about 70 kilometres east of Harare, on Wednesday evening. Government spokesman Nick Mangwana said the aircraft carried a prominent businessman, three other passengers and two pilots, with no survivors.

The group was reportedly travelling from Chikomba, where Chivayo and his wife were building a rural home. The cause of the crash is not yet known, and police said investigations were under way.

Chivayo was widely known as a flamboyant businessman who enjoyed a lavish lifestyle and often made headlines for his generous gifts and bold public statements.

Following the news, many online users have gone back to the screenshots, with some expressing shock and others calling for respect for the grieving family.

It remains unclear whether the messages shared by Poshy were ever independently verified. As tributes continue to pour in across Africa, the focus has shifted from the viral exchange to the loss of a man who rarely stayed out of the public eye.
