Forget Kennedy Agyapong if he’s not ready to work for NPP-Ayew Afriyie to NPP Executives
Member of Parliament for Effiduase-Asokore, Dr. Ayew Afriyie, has admonished Kennedy Agyapong to make clear his stance on whether he is part of the NPP or not.
According to him, he is not one to pamper the former Member of Parliament because he lost an election.
He believes that the former Assin Central MP cannot hold the party to ransom, and therefore, it is imperative that he makes his stance clear to the party.
Ayew Afriyie was speaking to the media at the NPP’s delegates conference when he made this known.
“Everyone has their ways of doing things. He went to an election and lost, so he has to be a good politician. He has to be straightforward if he wants to do NPP come and do NPP; if you don’t want to do NPP as me, I will not pamper him. I contested and lost twice, but on my third attempt my constituency honoured me. If you go to an election and lose, it’s not the end of it all, so why should anybody be pampered?”
To him, if efforts at reuniting the party do not see the light of day, the party must forget Kennedy Agyapong; after all, in the past the party suspended its chairman and General Secretary, and that paved the way for the party to win political power.
