A group of Las Vegas showgirls got pulled right into a wild street brawl on Wednesday after an argument with tourists turned physical right on the Strip.

Click for sound 0:00 / 0:00 A clip picked up by TMZ shows several women in full showgirl costumes, giant feather headdresses and all, throwing punches and shoving people around. Tourists just stopped and stared as the fight quickly got out of hand near an escalator.

The video shows one showgirl running right back into the fight, throwing punches. A shirtless guy gets stuck in the middle of it all while people back away from the mess. Giant feathers are flying everywhere as the brawl keeps going, and some people online are saying the guy was just stepping in to protect his girlfriend against three Vegas showgirls.

TMZ reports that the confrontation allegedly started when the showgirls pressured tourists for money. The situation then escalated into a physical fight.

The brawl continued near the escalator as bystanders tried to stay clear. The scene drew plenty of attention from tourists who happened to be nearby.

Police later arrived at the scene after the fight ended. One woman still wore her large purple headdress as she spoke with officers.

An eyewitness told TMZ that police arrested showgirls who took part in the fight.

Cops later confirmed two women were taken into custody on battery charges.

It made for a crazy scene on an already packed Las Vegas Strip. Instead of posing for pictures and entertaining visitors, the showgirls spent their day dealing with police after things turned ugly.

The case now moves forward as authorities handle the battery arrests.
