Husband of Rawalpindi ADC sent to jail in assault case

Police arrested Jawad Ali, husband of Additional Deputy Commissioner (Headquarters) Maliha Sahar, in a case involving the alleged assault of his wife.

Police produced Jawad Ali before a court, which sent him to jail on 14-day judicial remand.

The Women’s Police Station registered the case on the complaint of ADC (Headquarters) Maliha Sahar.

Further proceedings in the case are underway.
