PSX: Stocks close low as KSE-100 index dips over 2,000 points

The index had closed at 168,155.49 in the previous session. It traded between a high of 167,918.37 and a low of 165,764.21 during the day.

Trading volumes also declined, with 441.9 million shares changing hands in the regular market, compared with 494 million shares in the previous session.

The traded value fell to Rs.15,709,837,693, from Rs.17,491,130,287 previously.

Market capitalization stood at Rs.18,464,451,859,910, down from Rs.18,725,525,051,750 in the previous session.

In the Ready market, of the 499 companies listed, 55 advanced, 409 declined and 35 remained unchanged.
