What KANU Official Spotted at DCP-Wiper Rally, Warns Sifuna to Keep Off From A joint Rally with DCP

KANU National Spokesperson and Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Tony Gachoka has warned Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna against attending joint rallies with former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, citing the dominance of DCP supporters at a recent gathering involving Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka.

Gachoka questioned the party representation at the rally, claiming that supporters wearing Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP) caps and colours outnumbered those displaying Wiper Party attire.

He argued that the visible difference showed how Gachagua’s party was gaining prominence at a gathering that brought together leaders from different political formations.

The KANU spokesperson suggested that Sifuna should be cautious about such political arrangements, warning that Gachagua could use joint platforms to advance his party’s interests and personal ambitions.

Gachoka revealed that he had advised Sifuna both privately and publicly against attending the rally, urging him to approach political partnerships with greater caution.

“I advised Edwin Sifuna privately and publicly not to attend this joint rally. Be strategic!” he stated.

He also claimed that Gachagua was preparing to contest the presidency in 2027, warning the Linda Mwananchi movement against overlooking his ambitions.

“Riggy G is preparing for a presidential bid and Linda Mwananchi MUST BEWARE!” Gachoka added.

His remarks come as opposition leaders explore possible cooperation ahead of the 2027 General Election, with party influence and presidential ambitions emerging as important issues in the discussions.
