They Said I Deflower A 7-Year-old, I Told Them, They Should Do Likewise To My Girl Child–Baba Ijesha

According to a report by Daily Post on Sunday, November 8, 2026, Nollywood actor Baba Ijesha has claimed he was falsely accused in the child sexual abuse case that resulted in his imprisonment.

He denies being a paedophile and says others conspired to frame him.

Speaking to Agbaletu Uncensored, the actor discussed the allegations and his experience after his arrest and conviction.

He said he only learned what the word “paedophile” meant while in prison and rejected the label.

“I am not a paedophile. I didn’t even know what it meant until I was in prison,” he said.

Baba Ijesha also challenged the account of the incident, especially the claim about where the video used in the case was recorded. He said he had never been to the house in question.

“The house where I was caught on camera—I had never been there before,” he said.

He also described his response in prison after being accused of using a key to sexually assault a seven-year-old girl.

He said he confronted his accusers, noting that he has a daughter of his own, and said he had cursed them if the allegation was true.

“They said I used a key to deflower a 7-year-old. I told them I also have a girl child; when is time they should do likewise to her if I truly did it. I laid that curse,” he said.

His latest remarks return to the contentious child sexual abuse case that led to his imprisonment.

He continues to deny the allegations, claiming he was deliberately framed by those who accused him.
