In a moment that captured her displeasure, Charlene was seen signalling the security officers to allow her friends to accompany her, seemingly unhappy with the restrictions imposed on them.

Her father, President William Ruto, had to intervene to calm the situation as the security detail maintained its position.

At one point, the President appeared to caution his daughter, responding, “Eeeeh wewe,” as she tried to get the officers to let her friends walk with her.

Charlene, however, was not holding back her frustration, telling her father: “Your security are too much, too much.”

The exchange offered a glimpse into the lighter, more personal moments surrounding the newlywed’s celebrations, as she sought to enjoy the occasion alongside her friends without the restrictions of presidential security.

Charlene married her fiancé Isaya Yunge in a colourful ceremony in Tanzania.

Rwanda President Paul Kagame’s wife, Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s wife Mama Ida Odinga, CSs, and governors were among the politicians who attended the ceremony.
