Rachael Okonkwo joins fiancé, children at 50th birthday celebration

Nollywood actress Rachael Okonkwo has joined her fiancé, Chukwudi Onuorah, and his children to celebrate his 50th birthday, offering a glimpse into their growing family relationship.

In a video circulating on social media on Sunday, the actress was seen standing beside Onuorah as they cut his birthday cake with his children.

The businessman marked the milestone with a low-key celebration, with Okonkwo participating in the family moment.

The appearance comes days after the actress publicly confirmed her engagement to Onuorah by showing off an engagement ring and a bouquet of red roses in a video shared online.

In the clip, she expressed excitement, saying, “I’m blushing, and I’m shy.”

Reports of their relationship gained attention in October after the pair were spotted together at social events. Entertainment blogger Stella Dimoko Korkus also reported that their families held an Iku Aka ceremony on October 11, 2026, at the actress’s family home in Nsukka, Enugu State. The reported ceremony has not been independently confirmed by the couple.

Okonkwo, popularly known as Nkoli Nwa Nsukka, recently attracted attention for another development in her career after Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah appointed her Senior Special Assistant on film and creative industry development.

The appointment was announced on September 21, 2026, by the state government.

The actress is best known for her lead role in the Nkoli Nwa Nsukka film series, which earned her recognition in Nollywood.
