Pastor Ibiyeomie’s 120K-Capacity Church Interior Goes Viral

A video showing the interior of Pastor David new church has set Nigerian social media ablaze, with viewers stunned by its sheer size. The footage, shared on X on Thursday, November 5, 2026, appears to have been filmed from an upper balcony, panning across a vast auditorium filled with neatly arranged blue seats.

According to descriptions accompanying the clip, the hall can hold up to 120,000 worshippers at a time. It also features pillars that house offices and gallery spaces for even more congregants, a large screen above the altar, and a suspended speaker system overhead to carry sound to every corner.

The video’s caption called the building the “Hand of God” and reactions were sharply divided. Some praised it as a remarkable architectural achievement, while others questioned the priorities behind such a project, with one user asking why a football stadium was not built instead. Supporters fired back at the critics, insisting only God could make such a feat possible.
