Oteele Breaks Silence on Cheating Scandal, Describes Infidelity as an “Accident

Ghanaian actor Oteele has openly admitted to cheating on his wife with three women, describing his infidelity as an accident rather than a deliberate choice. He made the revelation during an interview with Delay, where he discussed his marriage and how he would respond if his wife were to cheat on him.

When Delay asked whether he would tolerate infidelity from his wife, Oteele initially insisted she would never cheat on him. After further questioning, however, he said he would accept it if it happened. “It’s an accident; I will take it as normal. If she does, it has already happened, so what could I do about it?” he said. His wife, who was present during the interview, immediately challenged his response, accusing him of being dishonest about how he would handle such a situation. “He’s lying; he’s very jealous,” she interjected.

Delay pressed further, asking what he would do if his wife cheated now that the issue had been discussed. Oteele maintained that it would be different, explaining that any infidelity after their conversation would be intentional. “If she does it now that we have spoken about it, it would be intentional,” he said, while continuing to describe his own infidelity as an accident.

Oteele also claimed he had been involved with only three women outside his marriage. His wife, however, appeared unconvinced and laughed at the claim, suggesting he had lost count. Delay also questioned him about a video that reportedly showed a child hugging him in a manner suggesting familiarity. Oteele denied any prior relationship with the child, insisting it was their first meeting. “Every child sees a man as their father, but that child doesn’t know me. That was the first day he saw me. The child walked in on us; it wasn’t as though he was standing there the entire time watching us,” he explained.

He further suggested he may have intended to delete the recording but forgot, leading to the controversy. “Maybe my intention for recording it was to later delete it, but I think I forgot to delete it, and that is what brought up all the issues. So in this world, when your cup is full, and God exposes you, that’s how it is,” he said.
