NDC Youth Force Sends A Message To President Mahama Ahead Of 2027 Budget

According to a report by GhanaWeb today being Sunday, November 8, 2026, the NDC Youth Force has cautioned President John Dramani Mahama against overlooking the sacrifices and contributions of party supporters who helped secure the National Democratic Congress’ return to power.

The group has appealed to the President to remember the grassroots members and loyal supporters who dedicated their time, resources and energy to the party’s campaign ahead of the 2024 general elections.

The warning comes as the government prepares to present the 2027 Budget, with the youth group expressing expectations that the financial statement will reflect the interests and concerns of ordinary NDC members.

According to the group, the party’s electoral victory was not achieved through the efforts of political leaders alone but also through the commitment of thousands of supporters who worked tirelessly to mobilise voters and strengthen the party’s presence across the country.

The NDC Youth Force believes these individuals deserve recognition and should not be forgotten now that the party has assumed control of government.

It has therefore urged President Mahama and his administration to consider the expectations of grassroots supporters when developing policies and implementing programmes under the upcoming budget.
