Joyfully married: Love on full display as Charlene Ruto adds Isaya Yunge to her Instagram bio

President William Ruto’s daughter, Charlene Ruto, has given followers another glimpse into her newlywed life after updating her Instagram profile to identify herself as “Joyfully Married” to Tanzanian entrepreneur Isaya Yunge.

Charlene added her husband’s Instagram handle, @isayayunge, to her bio following their wedding on Friday, November 6, 2026, at Malaika Beach Resort in Mwanza, Tanzania.

The update places Isaya at the centre of her public profile as she begins a new chapter in marriage.

Her updated bio reads: “Joyfully Married to @isayayunge | Champion for Young People | KSL Signer | Farmer | Mama Bees 🐝 | Founder & CEO @typn_i”.

While the addition celebrates her marriage, Charlene has retained the other descriptions highlighting her work and interests, including youth advocacy, farming and her involvement in the Kenya Sign Language community.

The change has attracted attention because it comes just days after the couple exchanged vows in a ceremony attended by family members, friends and prominent guests from Kenya and Tanzania.

Charlene and Isaya held their white wedding at Malaika Beach Resort, overlooking Lake Victoria, with her parents, President William Ruto and First Lady Rachel Ruto, escorting her down the aisle.

The ceremony followed their traditional Kalenjin Koito, held on August 8, 2026, at the Ruto family’s Intonna Heritage Farm in Kilgoris, Narok County. The event brought together relatives and friends as the two families celebrated the union.

In the days leading up to the wedding, Charlene had also shared photographs of herself and Isaya from a bridal photoshoot, captioning the collection “Joyfully Ever After”.

Isaya, meanwhile, shared his own reflection on the wedding journey on Sunday, November 8, describing his return to Mwanza to marry Charlene as the purest and best journey he had taken.

The couple’s latest social media updates have offered followers glimpses of their celebrations as they settle into married life.
