‘It was an accident’ – Oteele admits to cheating with three women

Ghanaian actor and comedian Oteele has confessed to cheating on his wife with three women since their marriage, though his wife insists the actual number is much higher. The admission came during a joint appearance on The Delay Show, following the circulation of his leaked adult video.

When asked how he would react if his wife were unfaithful, Oteele initially claimed she never would. Pressed further, he said he would accept it as “an accident” and take it as normal. His wife immediately disputed this, calling him “very jealous” and accusing him of lying. Oteele then clarified that if she cheated now, after their discussion, it would be “intentional”—insisting his own infidelity was accidental.

Asked to specify how many women he had been with outside the marriage, Oteele answered “Three.” His wife laughed off the figure, saying he had “lost count.” She explained that he typically denied affairs when confronted, which likely explained why he admitted to only three. She confirmed she knew the identities of the three women he named but declined to reveal the total number she believed there had been.

The interview also addressed the leaked video that sparked the controversy. Delay suggested the woman appeared to have known Oteele for a long time, pointing to a child in the footage who hugged him like a father figure. Oteele rejected this, stating the child had never met him before and had simply walked in on them. He said he recorded the intimate moment intending to delete it later but forgot, which led to the scandal.

The couple’s appearance follows months of public turmoil, including his wife initially leaving their home before eventually forgiving him.
