Isaya Yunge Reveals Emotional Message After Marrying Charlene Ruto in Lavish Wedding
Tanzanian entrepreneur Isaya Yunge has given Kenyans a glimpse into his memorable journey to marrying President William Ruto’s daughter, Charlene Ruto, after sharing a video showcasing his luxurious arrival in Mwanza, Tanzania.
Yunge took to social media on Saturday, November 7, to share footage capturing different moments of his journey to his hometown, where he exchanged marriage vows with Charlene in a lavish wedding ceremony.
In his heartfelt caption, the businessman described the trip as the most meaningful journey he had ever undertaken, explaining that returning home to marry the woman he loves made the experience particularly special.
“I flew home (Mwanza, Tanzania) to marry my beautiful wife. Of all the journeys I’ve taken, this one was the purest — and the best,” Yunge wrote.
The video revealed that the groom travelled aboard a private jet before touching down at an airport where a fleet of luxurious black Mercedes-Benz G-Wagons was waiting to receive him.
The impressive reception highlighted the elaborate preparations surrounding the highly anticipated wedding, which attracted prominent personalities from Kenya and Tanzania.
Yunge’s arrival was among several luxurious arrangements that characterised the celebrations.
Guests travelling from Kenya were also treated to a specially branded aircraft featuring personalised headrest covers bearing the couple’s names, initials, wedding date and destination.
The wedding ceremony took place on Friday, November 6, at Malaika Beach Resort in Mwanza, bringing together family members, friends and influential guests to celebrate the union.
President William Ruto and First Lady Rachel Ruto were among those who travelled to Tanzania to witness their daughter’s special day.
The wedding followed the couple’s traditional Kalenjin engagement ceremony, known as Koito, held on August 8, 2026, at Intonna Heritage Farm in Kilgoris, Narok County.
Yunge’s emotional reflection has since attracted attention online, with many Kenyans congratulating the newlyweds and celebrating the beginning of their marriage.
