I Mind My Business, I Am Making More Money Now Than When I Was Always Trending For Nonsense -Akpore

Boma Akpore, a prominent Nigerian actor, has revealed that staying away from unnecessary controversies and minding his business have helped him achieve greater success and earn more money in his career.

In an interview with THE CABLE shared on Sunday, November 8, 2026, Akpore said he has decided to avoid negative publicity and only wants to attract public attention for positive reasons.

Akopore explained that he now earns more money than when he frequently made headlines for controversial issues. He stated that staying away from unnecessary drama has also helped him gain access to influential people and major business opportunities. He added that he now engages with top executives and people with significant financial resources.

He disclosed that some individuals with budgets of up to N500 million now approach him to produce films, describing his current position in the industry as a major achievement.

In Akpore’s words: “Another reason I think I have done so well is that I mind my business. Whatever you are doing, as long as it does not affect me. I have promised myself I am not going to trend except if it is for positive stuff. I am making more money now than when I was always trending for nonsense. That is a different route on its own. Right now, I am talking to executives. I am sitting down where there is money. Somebody has N500 million, and they are calling me to produce a film. That is a serious place to be.”
