William Ruto’s Wedding Suit Price Revealed, Kenyans Can’t Believe the Amount

President William Ruto’s appearance at his daughter Charlene Ruto’s wedding has sparked interest beyond the family celebrations, with attention turning to the price of his distinctive jacket.

Nairobi based menswear retailer Zannetti Gents Fashion identified the blazer as a creation associated with Stefano Ricci, an Italian luxury fashion brand.

In a statement shared after the wedding, the retailer announced that it was accepting enquiries from customers interested in ordering the design.

The outlet listed the starting price at $7,000, equivalent to approximately KSh904,000. However, the final cost depends on the size and availability of the garment.

This means that anyone interested in purchasing a similar jacket would need a substantial budget, with the price placing it firmly in the luxury fashion category.

Stefano Ricci is known for producing high end menswear, including tailored suits, jackets, shirts and accessories.

The fashion house was established in Florence, Italy, in 1972. Its products are associated with premium materials, detailed craftsmanship and exclusive designs.

The blazer worn by Ruto has also been linked to the brand’s 50th Anniversary Egyptian Hieroglyphic collection. The collection drew inspiration from ancient Egyptian imagery and featured elaborate designs.

Such pieces are different from ordinary ready made jackets because of their materials, intricate patterns and the level of craftsmanship involved.

The reported price has therefore placed the president’s wedding outfit among the expensive fashion items discussed following the ceremony.

Charlene’s wedding attracted attention from both Kenya and Tanzania, with the appearance of members of the First Family adding to public interest in the celebrations.

Ruto’s choice of clothing has now become another detail associated with the high profile wedding.
