Wike: They Are Now In Port Harcourt, Begging Fubara That They Want To Make Peace With Him – Amaechi

ADC vice-presidential candidate Rotimi Amaechi has expressed confidence that his party will win Rivers State in the 2027 presidential election.

In an interview with Mainland 98.3 FM’s The Situation Room programme in Lagos, Amaechi said that FCT Minister Nyesom Wike and his political allies are not confident that their preferred presidential candidate Bola Tinubu will win Rivers in 2027

Amaechi said this is why Wike left Abuja and is spending more time in Port Harcourt, trying to reconcile with Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his supporters

In Amaechi’s words: “Why are they campaigning if they know they would win Rivers? They have left Abuja, they now live in Port Harcourt. I have gone to Port Harcourt only once. If I’m not confident I won’t stay in Abuja. But they are now living in Port Harcourt, begging everybody that ‘We want to make peace with you, Siminalayi Fubara we want to make peace with you, Fubara’s supporters we want to make peace with you'”
