Dancehall and Afrobeats star Stonebwoy turned his journey to Anloga into a moving display of generosity after he was captured sharing money and bread with excited fans along the road.

The multiple award-winning musician was travelling to the Volta Region ahead of his much-anticipated performance at the 2026 Hogbetsotso Festival, one of the most cherished cultural celebrations of the Anlo people. Rather than keeping his convoy moving without stopping, the BET Award winner paused to interact with the crowds that had gathered to catch a glimpse of him.

In videos that have since warmed hearts online, Stonebwoy is seen handing out loaves of bread and cash to residents, traders and young people who lined the streets to welcome him. The gesture sparked wild cheers, with many supporters chanting his name and dancing in excitement as he made his way through the community.

The Putuu hitmaker has long been known for his close connection with his fans, and his latest act of kindness further strengthened that bond. Local residents described the moment as a blessing, noting that his presence alone had lifted the spirits of the town ahead of the festival.

Stonebwoy is expected to deliver a thrilling performance at this year’s Hogbetsotso Festival, which celebrates the rich history, unity and cultural heritage of the Anlo people. With his arrival already creating a buzz, anticipation is at fever pitch for what promises to be an unforgettable night.

The musician later took time to greet traditional leaders and interact with organisers, showing respect for the customs that make the festival special. His generosity on the road has set the tone for a celebration that will be remembered for both music and kindness.
