Married Woman Runs Away From Her Husband And Children To Live With Her Rasta Boyfriend

A distraught Ghanaian mother has appealed for intervention from traditional authorities after alleging that her married daughter has abandoned her matrimonial home, husband and children to live with another man identified as her Rasta boyfriend.

The emotional mother, identified as Aunty Naa, made the claims during an appearance on Oyerepa TV, where she expressed concern over what she described as her daughter’s decision to walk away from her marriage.

According to her account, the daughter, who is legally married and has children, has reportedly moved in with the new partner. The mother further alleged that the pair had entered into a blood covenant, although no independent evidence was provided to support the claim.

Aunty Naa said family members had repeatedly attempted to contact the woman to advise her, but she allegedly refused to answer their calls.

She also claimed that her daughter had insisted she was now in love and questioned why relatives were interfering in her personal decision, reportedly saying, “They didn’t marry me inside an aeroplane, so why are they disturbing me?”

The mother disclosed that the woman’s husband was still willing to accept her back into the matrimonial home, but she had reportedly refused to return.

In an emotional appeal, Aunty Naa urged her daughter to pursue a proper divorce if she no longer wished to remain in the marriage.

“If you want a divorce, do it properly. Let us return his drinks so you can have your peace. Don’t do things this way and bring a curse upon the family,” she pleaded.

The mother is now appealing to the Queen Mother and traditional authorities in the town where her daughter is reportedly staying to intervene and help resolve the family dispute.

She said the situation had left her heartbroken, particularly because the woman is her first daughter.

The allegations and the circumstances surrounding the daughter’s decision have not been independently verified, and her side of the story was not included in the account.
