MaMkhize Tells Sbu Mpisane To Go Work In Bombshell Statement Over La Lucia Home And Car Fleet

South African businesswoman Shauwn Mkhize, popularly known as MaMkhize, broke years of public silence on Wednesday with a candid Instagram post addressing her ongoing dispute with ex-husband Sbu Mpisane.

In her detailed statement, the KwaZulu-Natal entrepreneur shed light on the division of assets following their high-profile split. She disclosed that Mpisane retained significant property—including their luxury marital mansion in Durban’s upscale La Lucia neighborhood, Royal Eagles Football Club assets, and a fleet of exotic vehicles. Expressing frustration over the arrangement, Mkhize asserted that her ex-husband received these assets despite contributing little to building them, writing, “Just like other men, you should now go out and get a job.”

Mkhize explained that she had long avoided public drama to shield their son, Andile Mpisane, and her grandchildren from family conflict. However, she felt compelled to speak out after private family matters repeatedly surfaced in media reports. Emphasizing her trust in the judicial system, she stated that formal legal channels—rather than public accusations—should resolve marital and asset disputes.

The public reaction has been intense, especially after an online image of her smiling grandchildren gained attention, contrasting sharply with the ongoing family legal feud. Mkhize noted that public mudslinging between adults creates an unfair burden on children who look up to them.

As of publication, Sbu Mpisane had not issued an official public response to Mkhize’s claims. Legal commentators and social media followers continue to monitor whether he will address the statements or allow the matter to proceed strictly through the courts.
