HitList N Cruzin, AIT Music Plus Producer Wins African Global Excellence Award 2026
The producer of HitList N Cruzin and AIT Music Plus, Mursty Adinoyi, has won the African Outstanding Television Producer and Music Entertainment Personality of the Year 2026 award.
The award was presented by the African Global Excellence Award (AGEA) at a ceremony held in Lagos at the weekend.
Speaking shortly after receiving the award, Adinoyi described the recognition as a collective achievement, saying he could not celebrate the milestone without acknowledging those who had supported and contributed to his journey.
He thanked the organisers of AGEA for finding him worthy of the honour, describing it as a major encouragement to continue pushing the boundaries of television and entertainment production.
He also expressed appreciation to his family for their love, patience, prayers and unwavering support through challenging periods and long working hours.
Adinoyi equally acknowledged the contributions of the team at Emrose Adinoyi Production and his partners, noting that their collective efforts had been instrumental to the success of the television programmes.
“This award is a testament to our shared sweat, creativity and dedication. We did this together! HitList N Cruzin and AIT Music Plus would not be where they are today without your brilliant efforts,” he said.
The producer also thanked television and radio stations for providing platforms and opportunities for him and his team to showcase their creative abilities to a wider audience.
He dedicated the award to God Almighty for granting him and his team the grace, strength and opportunity to use their talents to celebrate their generation.
Beyond the recognition, Adinoyi used the occasion to appeal to corporate organisations and brands, particularly those in the food, beverage and pharmaceutical sectors, to intensify consumer education campaigns through credible Nigerian media platforms.
He urged brands to collaborate with regulatory agencies, including the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control and the Standards Organisation of Nigeria, to protect consumers against counterfeit and substandard products.
According to him, trusted and widely accessible media channels, including newspapers, radio and television, remain essential in educating Nigerians on how to identify genuine products and avoid counterfeits.
“As a media practitioner, I often observe how challenging it has become for everyday consumers to recognise the original packaging of household staple products because their presence on local Nigerian television has reduced over time,” he said.
He noted that although international media channels reached certain audiences, local terrestrial broadcasting remained critical in a country with a population of more than 200 million people, many of whom depended on indigenous media platforms for information.
Adinoyi therefore called on corporate organisations to make brand protection and public education campaigns a central component of their Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.
He said such interventions would help safeguard public health, strengthen consumer awareness and protect Nigerians from the dangers associated with counterfeit products.
“Darkness can only exist where light is absent. Let us work together to shed light and protect Nigerian consumers,” he added.
The award-winning producer also appreciated viewers of HitList N Cruzin and AIT Music Plus for their continued loyalty and support, urging them to sustain their encouragement as the programmes strive for greater achievements.
