A 16-year-old Senior High School (SHS) student has reportedly been brutally assaulted following a visit to a female classmate in Appolonia, Accra, after what was supposed to be a birthday celebration allegedly escalated into a violent confrontation involving the girl’s parents.

According to a report by GHOne TV on Saturday November 7, 2026, the incident occurred after the teenage boy visited the residence of his female classmate to celebrate her birthday.

However, the visit reportedly took an unexpected turn when the girl’s parents allegedly accused him of entering their home with the intention of spending the night with their daughter.

The accusation is said to have triggered a confrontation between the teenager and the girl’s parents, which eventually resulted in the 16-year-old being physically assaulted.

What began as an ordinary social visit between two classmates reportedly ended in violence, leaving the young student at the centre of a disturbing incident.
