What Ngige Did To Me In 2011 Led To Me Being In A Coma And Rushed Out To Germany For Treatment—Ibezi
Speaking in an interview with Gbam Interview, Hon. Ifeanyi Ibezi, a former member of the House of Representatives, stated that working with former Anambra State Governor Chris Ngige is one of his two biggest regrets in politics
Ibezi said that in 2011, Ngige did something to him that left him in a coma and led to him being flown out of Nigeria for medical treatment in Germany. He, however, did not disclose exactly what Ngige did to him
Ibezi said his second regret was returning to the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and spending his money to support Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s re-election.
Ibezi said he regretted organising a rally to mobilise support for Soludo and added that, if he had the opportunity, he would ask the governor to refund the money he spent on it.
In Ibezi’s words: “In my entire political life I have two regrets and I will say it anywhere. One is working with Dr Chris Ngige, as a mentor what he did to me I was rushed out of the country, I was in a coma in 2011. I was rushed out to Germany where I was treated. The second one is returning back to APGA and supporting Soludo for second terms and spending my money for him. If I have my way I will ask him to refund me for that rally I did”
