Ruto and Rachel Share Emotional Moment With Charlene as She Walks Down the Aisle

President William Ruto’s daughter, Charlene Ruto, attracted attention during her white wedding to Tanzanian businessman Isaya Yunge after making an elegant entrance in a white bridal gown and a long veil.

Charlene exchanged vows with Yunge in Mwanza, Tanzania, on Friday, November 6, 2026, in a ceremony attended by family members, friends and several prominent personalities from Kenya.

A video shared from the wedding showed the bride wearing a beautifully designed white gown, complemented by a long veil that flowed behind her as she walked towards the priest.

She completed her appearance with neatly styled hair and a decorative accessory placed on the side of her head. Charlene also carried a bouquet containing white and red roses as she made her way down the aisle.

One of the memorable moments came when her parents, President William Ruto and First Lady Rachel Ruto, met her halfway before accompanying her towards the altar.

The presidential couple briefly embraced their daughter before walking alongside her. They appeared happy and emotional as they escorted Charlene during the special family moment.

Guests could also be heard cheering as the bride made her entrance, with attention drawn to her appearance and the involvement of her parents in the ceremony.

The wedding attracted interest beyond the bride’s appearance, with arrangements made to transport some guests from Kenya to Tanzania.

Comedian Eddie Butita’s girlfriend, Celest Terer, shared photographs showing a luxury private jet used by guests travelling to Mwanza for the celebrations.

The aircraft had personalised wedding branding displaying Charlene and Isaya’s names, the wedding date of November 6, 2026, and Mwanza, Tanzania.

Inside the plane, the couple’s names and wedding details were also displayed on the seats, giving the aircraft a personalised touch for the occasion.

Celest further shared an image of the aircraft’s exterior, which had the words Republic of Kenya written on its body.

Butita, who has previously been associated with President Ruto, was among the personalities expected to attend the celebrations alongside his partner.

Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi had also shared a glimpse of his time with President Ruto at a luxury beach hotel in Mwanza ahead of the ceremony.

The wedding marked another milestone in Charlene and Isaya’s relationship following their traditional engagement ceremony, Koito, held in August 2026 at the Ruto family’s Intonna Heritage Farm in Kilgoris, Narok County.
