Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, has commissioned a new presidential campaign office in Wurukum, Makurdi, to support the re-election bid of President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima in the 2027 general elections.
Alia disclosed this in a post on X, saying the office would serve as a coordination centre for party leaders, members, volunteers, youths and women working towards the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates.
The governor said President Tinubu had supported Benue State’s efforts to restore peace, rebuild infrastructure and create opportunities for residents.
“President Tinubu has stood with Benue as we work to restore peace, rebuild infrastructure and create opportunities for our people. I am grateful for his support and remain committed to ensuring that this partnership brings lasting benefits to families and communities across our state,” he said.
Alia described the new office as a place for party members and supporters to share ideas, plan together and welcome others willing to contribute to the development of Benue and Nigeria.
He also urged party supporters to listen to residents and ensure their concerns guide political engagements ahead of the elections.
“As we take the Renewed Hope message to our communities, we must also listen. Our people’s concerns must guide our work, and we must continue to earn their confidence through service delivery,” the governor said.
Alia reaffirmed his commitment to securing another term for Tinubu and Shettima, while also seeking re-election alongside his deputy, Sam Ode.
He called on party members to work towards victory for all APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.
