Empress Njamah shares account details for Francis Duru’s burial donations

Nollywood actress Empress Njamah has shared bank account details for members of the public willing to contribute towards the burial of late actor Francis Duru.

Empress made the announcement in a collaboration post on Instagram on Thursday, sharing an account number through which well wishers can make donations to the family.

She said several people had contacted her to ask how they could contribute towards giving the late actor a befitting burial.

She wrote, “Several people have reached out to ask how they can contribute towards giving our dear Francis Duru a befitting final homegoing.

“We sincerely appreciate your love, kindness and willingness to stand with the family during this difficult time of mourning

Duru died in October 2026 at the age of 57 following a brief illness. His family announced his death on October 23.

The actor’s family has scheduled a service of songs for November 25 at Family Worship Centre, Wuye, Abuja.

Another service of songs will hold on December 10 at the family compound in Okai, Eziama, Isiala Mbano, Imo State, ahead of his burial and interment on December 11 at the same location.

Duru was known for his role as Ahanna in the 1995 film Rattlesnake and featured in several other Nollywood productions during his career.
