Construction of Mahama pomised Dambai bridge is underway

According to report by Kansemtv 5, November 2026, construction work on the Dambai Bridge, a major infrastructure project promised by President John Dramani Mahama, is currently underway, with engineers and other workers actively carrying out activities at the project site.

The latest development has generated interest among residents and other Ghanaians following the emergence of a video showing the progress of work on the bridge.

A video shared by Sway TV on November 4, 2026, captures ongoing construction activities, with engineers and workers seen undertaking various tasks as efforts continue to advance the project.

The development offers a glimpse into the progress being made on the bridge, which is expected to improve transportation and connectivity in the Dambai area and surrounding communities when completed.

The Dambai Bridge is considered an important infrastructure project because of its potential to ease movement and improve access for residents, traders, motorists and other road users who depend on transportation links in the area.

Its construction is also expected to support economic and commercial activities by making the movement of people and goods more convenient.

President Mahama had earlier promised the construction of the bridge as part of efforts to address infrastructure challenges and improve connectivity in the country.

Although work is visibly progressing, the engineers and authorities responsible for the project have not yet announced an official completion date. It also remains unclear when the bridge will be opened to the public for use.

For now, residents and other interested observers will be watching closely as construction continues, hoping that the project will be completed and made operational within the expected timeframe.
