The video, which surfaced online on Thursday, November 5, 2026, captured an emotional Empress Gifty breaking down in tears after her husband surprised her with the vehicle.

However, Afia Schwarzenegger has questioned the authenticity of the surprise, alleging that Empress Gifty may have purchased the car herself and arranged for her husband to present it to her as a birthday gift.

Reacting to the viral video, Afia first took aim at the vehicle itself, describing it as a Chinese car while comparing it to a luxury vehicle she claimed her daughter, Tracy, acquired.

According to Afia, her daughter had allegedly acquired a brand-new G-Wagon Brabus 2026 in November.

“My daughter Tracy took a brand-new G-Wagon Brabus 2026 this November. Don’t let them give you a Chinese car for you to faint in Jesus’ name; say Amen,” Afia said.

Her comments appeared to question the significance of the vehicle presented to Empress Gifty, while also mocking the emotional reaction captured in the viral footage.

Afia went further to allege that Empress Gifty herself bought the car before handing it over to her husband to present it as a surprise.

She questioned why someone would purchase a vehicle for herself and then arrange for her spouse to create a surprise around it.

“Most importantly, after you bought the car and gave it to the person to surprise you with it, the two of you are shameless. How can you borrow this? Take your stupidity away,” she added.
