In a recent interview with Sally Mann, Joana Quaye opened up about how her former husband allegedly subjected her to physical abuse, claiming he would beat her over issues she considered minor.

According to her, the popular adage, “To err is human, to forgive is divine,” appeared to have no place in her former husband’s dealings with her, as she alleged that he would physically assault her even when she had done nothing wrong.

Recounting some of her experiences, she stated: “It got to a point he hit me. When I spoke and made a mistake, or if something happened and he didn’t like it, he would beat me.”

Her revelations have brought renewed attention to the allegations of abuse she says she experienced during her marriage to the business mogul.
