Lege Miami Gets Emotional While Thanking MC Oluomo and Others at Tinubu’s Campaign Rally
Nollywood actor Adams Kehinde, popularly known as Lege Miami, became emotional during a campaign rally organised in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as he publicly appreciated MC Oluomo and other attendees for their support.
The Yoruba actor held the rally on Tuesday, with transport union leader MC Oluomo and several other personalities present to show their support.
While addressing the gathering, Lege Miami broke down in tears as he expressed gratitude to those who had supported him financially and made time out of their busy schedules to attend the event.
The actor acknowledged their contributions, noting that their presence meant a lot to him and appreciating them for standing by him.
Lege Miami has previously spoken in support of President Tinubu’s administration.
During protests against the economic hardship in the country, the actor appealed to young Nigerians in Lagos to reconsider their position and give the president more time to address the country’s challenges.
Although he acknowledged the rising cost of living, he maintained that the president needed more time to improve the situation.
In 2023, Lege also appealed to Nigerians to stop approaching him for financial assistance. He explained that he was not related to President Tinubu or financially connected to any political figure, contrary to what some people might have assumed.
The actor is among several Nollywood personalities who have publicly expressed support for Tinubu.
Recently, actor Ubi Franklin faced criticism after sharing pictures from a strategy meeting with Seyi Tinubu and other political associates.
One of the photographs showed Seyi holding a five-kilogram bag of rice. Franklin subsequently defended his position, explaining that he had the constitutional right to support any political candidate of his choice.
