“Why Are You Here We Are Here Just To Suonono” – JoyNews Talk With NPP Protester Goes Viral

The ongoing NPP demonstration has taken a new turn after a brief interview with one of the party’s supporters sparked widespread conversation across social media.

According to a report by Joy News on November 3rd, 2026, a female supporter was asked why she had joined the demonstration. Her response caught the attention of many Ghanaians, who found both her answer and her choice of words puzzling.

Almost immediately, the video drew a flood of reactions online. A large number of social media users expressed confusion over the word she used, with many wondering which language she was speaking. Some speculated that it was a blend of local and foreign dialects, while others questioned her nationality altogether.

Others took a humorous angle, noting that of the many demonstrators present, the reporter had chosen this particular supporter for an interview. Several users joked that the clip should be kept away from well-known political figures, while others made light-hearted remarks about the demonstrators’ ability to express themselves.

Beyond the humour, some commenters raised more serious points. A few questioned the purpose of the demonstration if supporters could not clearly state their reasons for attending. Others, however, praised her response as witty and suggested she had the makings of a future party communicator.

Still, a number of observers cautioned against ridiculing individuals who are interviewed on the spot, noting that street interviews can catch anyone off guard.

The viral exchange has since become a major talking point, highlighting how a single moment from a political event can overshadow the broader message of the demonstration itself.
