Reps urge CBN to pay outstanding pension arrears, extend increases to eligible retirees

The House of Representatives has urged the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and other relevant authorities to verify and pay all outstanding pension arrears lawfully due to affected retirees within a reasonable and clearly defined period.The House also recommended the extension of applicable general pension increases to eligible former employees of the apex bank in accordance with relevant laws.
