Kebbi NLC demands N70,000 monthly transport allowance for workers

The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Kebbi State chapter, has demanded a minimum monthly transport allowance of N70,000 for workers to cushion the impact of rising commuting costs.The state chairman of the union, Murtala Usman, disclosed this on Monday, saying the union would soon meet with Governor Nasir Idris to present its demand.
