Former Pirates Star Explains Why Club Should Not Rush Sibisi’s Contract Extension

ìA former Orlando Pirates player has shared his thoughts on Nkosinathi Sibisi’s future at the Soweto giants, explaining why the club should carefully consider its next move rather than rush into offering the defender a contract extension.

Sibisi has established himself as an important figure at Pirates, with his experience, leadership qualities and defensive contributions making him a valuable member of the squad.

However, the former Pirates star believes the club should take its time before making a decision about extending his stay.

The discussion comes as Pirates continue to build a competitive squad capable of challenging for major honours. With several competitions demanding consistency and squad depth, decisions involving experienced players require careful consideration.

Sibisi’s performances, fitness, age and long-term value to the team are among the factors that could influence the club’s decision.

The defender has also faced criticism from sections of the supporters, although he has continued to work hard and demonstrate his commitment to the Buccaneers.
