Sombre Mood As Popular Citizen TV News Reporter Finally Lays His Late Father To Rest

Popular Citizen TV business news reporter Patrick Igunza has finally laid his late father, Solomon Igunza Kayiga, to rest.

The late patriarch was actually buried on Saturday, the 31st of October, at the Kidundu Village of Vihiga County.

The late Solomon Igunza Kayiga was laid to rest just days after a memorial service was held in his honour at the Nairobi Baptist Church.

The news of the burial ceremony was however disclosed by the media personality, and this was via posts that he made on his respective social media platforms recently.

Patrick Igunza, who also works as a presenter at Hot 96 FM, shared videos that gave netizens a glimpse of how the burial ceremony went down.

What was clear is that the late Solomon Igunza Kayiga was indeed given a befitting send-off, because the event was attended by several people who knew him when he was still alive, as well as close friends and family members.

The burial ceremony was also attended by colleagues of Patrick Igunza like Uncle Bensu, who is a presenter at Radio Citizen as well as Citizen TV.

They all came to pay their last respects to the departed patriarch, whilst also celebrating a life well-lived.

Even though Patrick Igunza was indeed deeply heartbroken by his father’s death, he assured him that he will love him forever.
