Regina Sees Many Of These Posts, And They Are Deeply Distressing–Nwoko

According to a report by Vanguard on Monday, November 2, 2026, Senator Ned Nwoko has urged members of the public, especially supporters, friends and fans of his estranged wife, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, to allow her privacy and give her sufficient time to recover.

He also warned that individuals responsible for circulating false information about the actress could face legal consequences.

Nwoko made the appeal in a statement published on his Instagram page, where he raised concerns about the spread of fabricated reports, including false announcements of Daniels’ death, misleading claims about her health and other distressing publications concerning her personal life.

The senator explained that his appeal was not solely about Daniels but also about their children, who deserve to have their mother surrounded by encouragement, understanding and support.

He stressed that the actress needed an environment that would allow her to concentrate on her recovery without unnecessary public pressure.

According to Nwoko, Daniels has experienced considerable difficulties and should be treated with compassion during this period.

He maintained that what she needed most was genuine love, emotional support and sufficient privacy to overcome her challenges rather than criticism, public scrutiny or negative comments on social media.

He further expressed displeasure over individuals allegedly creating and sharing unverified information about the actress, particularly publications falsely claiming that she had died.

He described such reports as irresponsible and harmful, noting that the circulation of misleading information could worsen the situation instead of helping her regain stability.

Nwoko also cautioned social media users against treating sensitive information about Daniels as entertainment or an opportunity to generate engagement online.

He explained that the actress comes across several of the publications being circulated about her and that their contents could have a damaging effect on her emotional well-being.

He therefore appealed to those involved to consider the consequences of their actions and exercise restraint.

He emphasised that spreading false reports and hurtful messages does not contribute positively to Daniels’ recovery, adding that such activities only increase the difficulties she is already experiencing.

“These things are not harmless social media engagement. Regina sees many of these posts, and they are deeply distressing. They do nothing to support her recovery, rather, they add to the burden she is already carrying,” he said.
