Rachael Okonkwo Announces Her Appointment As Senior Special Assistant To Enugu State Governor

According to a post shared by Nollywood actress Rachael Okonkwo on her verified Instagram page, @rechaelokonkwo, the movie star officially announced her appointment as the Senior Special Assistant on Films and Creative Industries to the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Dr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah.

In her statement, Okonkwo disclosed that the appointment was graciously handed to her in September, noting that she received the political role with deep gratitude, humility, and a profound sense of responsibility.

Reflecting on her journey, the actress highlighted her years in the entertainment industry and Nollywood, expressing her belief in the creative sector’s immense potential for economic growth, job creation, cultural preservation, and global recognition.
