Popular Kumawood actor Oboy Salinko has finally opened up on how he became rich.

The comic actor, known for making many Ghanaians laugh, said his wealth did not come from fraud, rituals, or any questionable means. According to him, his success is the result of years of hard work, humble beginnings, and the grace of God.

Speaking in a recent interview, Salinko revealed that life was not easy for him at the beginning. He started out as a pure water seller on the streets just to survive.

“I started by selling pure water,” he said. “That was how I began my hustle in life before people got to know me.”

He explained that selling pure water was tough, especially under the scorching sun, but it taught him how to be patient, humble, and hardworking. He did not despise his small beginning because he believed that one day things would change.

Salinko said from selling pure water, he did other small jobs to support himself and his family. He never gave up on his dream of becoming an actor, even when many people looked down on him.

According to him, his breakthrough came when he got the opportunity to join the Kumawood movie industry. He took his acting career seriously and worked very hard to make a name for himself.

Today, the actor is not only famous but also a successful businessman. He owns houses, cars, and businesses, all from his hard work in acting and other investments.

He urged the youth not to be ashamed of doing small jobs. He said many young people want to become rich overnight without working hard, which pushes them into bad activities.

Salinko added that there is dignity in labour and that God blesses hard work. He advised young Ghanaians to stay focused, be honest, and start from somewhere, no matter how small.

His story has inspired many of his fans who have praised him for being open about his journey from hawking pure water on the streets to becoming one of the richest actors in Kumawood.
