I Never Imagined Anyone Would Be Matching Amaliba’s Standard Until This Akwatia MP Came Along —Awal

Political commentator Awal Mohammed has taken a swipe at the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the Member of Parliament for Akwatia after sharing a critical statement by Gideon Kwasi Annor questioning the party’s legal reasoning.

In a Facebook post on October 31, 2026, Mohammed reproduced Annor’s remarks, in which he criticised what he described as the poor legal arguments associated with the NDC.

Annor referenced lawyer and NDC stalwart Abraham Amaliba, saying he had initially believed the party had reached the limit of what he considered weak legal reasoning.

However, he suggested that his opinion changed following the emergence of the Akwatia MP, Ernest Kumi, whose involvement in an unspecified matter prompted another strong reaction.

“Herh! Ernest Kumi worry we paa!” Annor wrote, expressing his frustration.

Mohammed appeared to endorse the criticism, adding a humorous response to the post: “I have nothing to add, masre asu.” He also included laughing emojis and the hashtag #Letswatchit.
