How to Make Your Money Work for You: Two Top Bank CEOs to Share Secrets
How can people make better use of their money and build a stronger financial future? These questions will take centre stage this week as two leading bank CEOs prepare to share practical financial advice with Kenyans.
The Kenya Bankers Association (KBA) has announced two special conversations under its My Chat with a Bank CEO programme, bringing together banking leaders to discuss money management, financial planning and future opportunities.
The first conversation will take place on Thursday, November 5, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM (EAT). CPA Nancy Njau, the Chief Executive Officer of Family Bank, will lead the discussion under the topic, “Making Your Money Work Better for You.”
Njau is expected to share practical advice on how people can manage their money, develop good saving habits, prepare budgets and make better financial decisions. The discussion will also highlight the importance of borrowing wisely and protecting personal finances.
The second conversation is scheduled for Friday, November 6, 2026, at the same time, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM (EAT).
Michael Mutiga, Chief Executive Officer of Stanbic Bank Kenya, will lead the discussion under the topic, “Building a Stronger Financing Future.”
Mutiga will focus on how individuals and businesses can prepare for future financial needs, make informed borrowing decisions and build financial stability. The conversation will also explore ways of accessing financing to support long-term growth.
Both sessions will be conducted through the Kenya Bankers Association’s public interactive social media programme, allowing participants to gain insights from experienced banking leaders.
Each session will include presentations, questions and answers, giving participants an opportunity to learn more about managing their finances and preparing for future opportunities.
The initiative aims to make financial knowledge more accessible to the public, especially young people, entrepreneurs and individuals seeking to improve their financial decisions.
